Check out article directories for good information. It’s another great place to learn internet marketing basics. It’s all free, and you have permission to republish stuff on your own website if you retain the author’s name and web links in the article.

If you are looking for a paid resource, you should look for one that is modestly priced, functions on a membership basis, recognizes that different marketers have different needs, but most of all offers ongoing help and instruction.

As the blog world is expanding, you can find lots of affiliate information in blogs.
And watch the comments or questions and perhaps ask a few yourself.

Marketing and home business electronic zines (ezines) offer a lot of affiliate information and their publishers know where to find it, that’s another idea.

1. Don’t tell anyone what you do or what you sell. Now, that’s a mystery to write about! Not to mention, there’s no contact email.(Didn’t want the spam anyway}. Is this for real?

2. Give those visitors lots of information all over the place. There is an ocean of banners, with links everywhere and articles galore. What now? And how do I stop all these popups? Egads! Get me outta here..
(But now my computer is froze). Reboot..Gone

3. Make the ordering process really complicated. It’s so much fun shopping around and then spending a half hour trying to figure out how to pay. Well, never mind, don’t need this stuff that bad. Another customer who wanted to spend money went “POOF”.

4. Fill your site with outdated information and broken links. This link goes to a 404 not found, that one is going nowhere, not even click able, and last updated 2001, Oh my it’s 2009!…GEEZ

5.I am at this website, but can’t read the information, and I’m wearing my specks!! Keep your page nice and dark and the print itty bitty. Kinda spooky, but it doesn’t do me any good if I can’t see it…BYE.

6. Here’s a goody, don’t make your links open in another browser. Well whatcha know, clicked right outta there!

Isn’t that what drives you away? Obviously, if you are spending time and energy putting up a website to make money, this is NOT what you want a visitor to find.
